Well, of course it's about my life and stuff I think about. Just like a quadzillionbazillion other bloggers. I'm obsessed with God. I love beauty, enjoy absurdity, dance with despair, seek silence, and think everyone is goofy. Here's my world and what I think of it....

There is no language that is 'Celtic' though I too have seen people espousing Irish as Celtic, just calling it 'Celtic.' This infuriates me, but then again, many things do. Just now I saw someone's list which included Gaelic, but Gaelic could mean Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic, or even Manx. They happened to be using Scots. Anyone who knows that there is no singular 'Celtic' Paschal Greeting because 'Celtic' would include six languages in two different Celtic subcategories (Brythonic, which includes Welsh, Breton, and Cornish and Goidelic, which includes Irish Gaelic, Scots Gaelic, and Manx Gaelic) will know that someone stating the Welsh as Welsh is generally going to be geekier than someone espousing either Irish, Scots, Manx, Welsh, Cornish, or Breton as generically 'Celtic.' So this meter is flawed. I wants me my money back.

You blew the fuse on the machine, Och. :) s-p
I have living with us this year a family from Malawi so:
Ambuye Jesu anauka! Anauka ndithu!
What Owen said.
Besides, I am stunned and offended that the language of my fathers (Welsh) rates such a low reading on the Geekometer.
However, I won't hold it against you: Atgyfododd Crist! Yn wir atgyfododd!
Darn. So very low on the Geek-O-Meter, am I.

So where does this rate?
Ortanne Laivino! Anwa ortanne Laivino!

I'd put it somewhere between Welsh and Klingon, but I would put Welsh much higher on the scale. The effort required to learn that language at least rates it higher than Gaelic.
