Well, of course it's about my life and stuff I think about. Just like a quadzillionbazillion other bloggers. I'm obsessed with God. I love beauty, enjoy absurdity, dance with despair, seek silence, and think everyone is goofy. Here's my world and what I think of it....

This series is so hilarious. As a former Protestant, now Orthodox Christian, I love the way you poke fun at the pompous tendencies of both sides! Keep them coming.
I had one of those charismaniac types come up to me like that. "The Lord told you're supposed to do so and so and such and such."
I replied, "That's odd. He told me the exact opposite."
Christ is risen!
Close to home on this one. I was recently having gin and theological discussion with a buddy of mine and in a moment of exasperation he said, "Shut up. Quit quoting people that lived in caves and f'ing tell me what YOU think!" :)
@Keith:
I love it! It's so true. The one side can't enough authoritative cliches and the other side can't get enough of themselves.
Luckily I grew up in the churches of Christ, and was taught to fear the Holy Spirit. :)
And it's just as well that both texts end where they do. Because I invariably zone out for whatever comes next.
I'm with Emily!
