60

It seems the older I get, the less I feel compelled to say.

Just turned 45 myself. I guess I'll have to start acting like a grownup.

Many years!

I'm about 17 years behind you, but I'm also starting to feel the same way. It's not that I don't care about things, but I find I'm losing the energy and desire to challenge things that I don't agree with. Am I getting soft, too tolerant, too complacent? I haven't figured that one out yet. Maybe I've learned to pick my battles more wisely.

I'm 62 and realize that I don't have an original thought in my head - and nothing I say is anything anyone would listen to anyway.

All my life I've wanted to write - been envious of those who managed to "live my dream" Now I realize any books I'd have written would have ended up remaindered if they ever saw a printing press...... so why bother.

And there won't be many more blog comments anymore because these old eyes can't distinguish the letters that are supposed to prove I'm not a robot! I'm on my 6th try!

Happy Birthday.

I once heard someone say, "I don't talk much because I have a lot to keep quiet about."

Wow, if this happens to me (a shy introvert who barely speaks to coworkers or other parishioners at the age of 28) I'm gonna be completely mute by the time I'm your age :P

May your next 60 be less eventful than your last 60.

According to the Boomers, 60 is the new 20. Your three-score-and-ten would put you just a little shy of Och's forecast.

SP: Many years! As I ponder the magnificence of sixty... you have only four years until you can sing the song that's better than "Yer Birthday": Ner ner ner nernerner ner ner. Birthday! Ner ner ner nernerner nr ner.
