A Good Case for Tradition

I'll never have to venerate one of these

Well, anyone with one of these doesn't allow veneration of images, anyway.

Actually, there's probably a connection there. 'Decorative Jesus' can look like anything you want; it's only when you have to kiss an image that it gets personal.

Good point... who would want to kiss a blue-eyed Geico caveman in a turquoise cardigan?

Wow, one suitable for framing. Axios.

Oh, and Jesus has a twin. I've had fun with tineye.com before, but it's never been this creepy.

I very much like the "it's only when you have to kiss an image that it gets personal" as well.

WHERE did you ever find this deformity?

P.S.) I had a college prof who taught us that the combination of red hair and blue eyes showed Viking ancestry.

It's Hoss Cartwright, cleaned up!

Reminds me of the scholastic debate between the Franciscans and the Benedictines, "Did Christ own the cardigan he wore?"

Hey, I didn't know our Lord wore scrubs!

Some things cannot be unseen, you know... Thanks for the nightmares!

I'm in total agreement with Jodie Anna and Bill M's comments.
That is a seriously scary picture.

Wow, um. Well, the sweater certainly brings out his eyes.

Which Allman Brother is that?

Just awful on so many levels! Now I'll have to visit your blog via post links until that thing is gone!

I have posted some thoughts and questions on this on my blog:

This picture is scary but raises some questions, well for me anyways.

Good thoughts over there Apo. My comments are on your blog.

Isn't that "St. Germain," the "Ascended Master" from Elizabeth Clair Prophet's cult??? Sure looks like the picture of him I saw on one of her old TV programs ... all the more creepy if anyone mistakes "it" for the Lord.
