So, I'm assuming that there are chips - what I seem to remember you Americans call French fries - in the packet?

You’ve been potholing in Jordan again it seems. I can see you abandoning AFR for the History Channel yet.

*sigh* I have been a vegetarian since I was a teen, over 30 years, and yet come this point in Lent I get cravings for things like kielbasa and roast lamb. I have no idea by now what either of them taste like but, boy, do I want them. And this orthograph really reminds me of that.

Don’t suppose you’re going to continue the Curmudgeophan and Barfy mystery story, are you?

I don't think they had lent back then.

what is the difference between fries and chips?

Yeah I'd be hangin' with the French Fry theory. Only these would be barbecued rather than fried. Just smokin'.

And truth be told, Lenten food has been pretty decent this year... or was. Yep. Until this week. Suddenly, out of the blue the lure of the smell of meat, cheese... and all the rest begun singing to me. It's like some sort of irresistible Tango... that's at both joy and sorrow at the same time. Two natures.... in one body. Hmmmm.

S.D., ...neither did they have McDonald's. However they did have fasting days and seasons and pig farmers. I think there might have been a McRibstein in that bag.

Margaret, sigh... I keep revisting the Curmudgeophan Comic and I have a whole story line mapped out. I REALLY like it but the time it takes to do the cartoons is too much right now. I actually have work and a dozen other projects and ideas and podcasts and videos and orthographs and websites that I have sitting undone. I need a "patron of the Ortho-arts" to support my internet habit.

Then I will be glad you have work and pray for you to acquire a patron! :)
