New Bishop's Image for American Orthodoxy

I think we need to replace that Old World intimidating "old grumpy man with a stick" image with something more American and happy.

And it's "Trinitarian":  Three scoops, individual flavors in one nature.

You've invented a new meme! lol

Is a meme a good thing? I don't know what a meme is and if I should be inventing them, even inadvertantly. :)

Oh that's great! I needed the chuckle this morning. Next picture in the meme might be a bishop holding nunchucks. Here's an example of a great meme: http://kimjongillookingatthings.tumblr.com/

Except the cone should be a cross. The top part of the cross could hold the scoops of ice cream in place better, sort of like a corn dog, and if the strawberry begins to melt at the bottom, it can symbolize the blood of Christ.

The well-manicured beard is a great touch, too.

One scoop = unitarian.
There actually should be the discoopion & triscoopion for blessing during the liturgy. Is it easier to clean up drips from this or scrape wax out of the carpet??

Reminds me of Bishop Benjamin with shave ice (snow cone) in Hawaii.

Even better is that Sayedna Nicholas is Melkite Greek Catholic! (he is quite orthodox liturgically)

Finally, some love for the Melkites! :)
