Well, of course it's about my life and stuff I think about. Just like a quadzillionbazillion other bloggers. I'm obsessed with God. I love beauty, enjoy absurdity, dance with despair, seek silence, and think everyone is goofy. Here's my world and what I think of it....

Ha... ha... really like this one.
This made my day--thank you!
Very nice touch with the English speaking bishops. In our everydayness it's easy to lose perspective. But I guess I'm being redundant because that's what you just said.
Most bars, of course, being longer even than the United States' existence (1776).
GobbledyGook, Yup. I tell Mormons at my door I have icons older than their religion. I had one older than America. Sometimes it seems our expectations of having an "American Orthodoxy" are more a product of being raised on American exceptionalism, evangelical patriotic narcissism, an appeal to the "rule of law" applied to the Canons of the Church, and 30 minute TV programs than "Orthodoxy". We're moving in the right direction, or "A" direction that looks right to us... whether it looks right to the Holy Spirit remains to be seen, IMO.... maybe in a couple hundred years we'll know. Maybe if I give up the Pop Tarts and Big Macs I might live to see it. :)
"I gave up Pop Tarts and Big Macs for this?"

Well done.
Just had a cherry Pop-Tart this morning. Yum.
Oh, well said, sir. Well said.
I think you expanded the scale for the far right record; I think it's actually been about 45 minutes. About as long as Socialism lasted in the Book of Acts (4:32)?
Well layed out chart there Steve! My sentiments exactly!
