Flashback to art classes in the 60's... it doesn't happen often anymore.

I love this. And this is exactly the advice I give young men contemplating marriage (not that any of them ask for it, exactly.) I tell them to take a good look at their future mother-in-law, because that is who they can expect to be married to in 30 years. If they are fine with that, then I say go for it.

Color? It's the weekend, so it must be the Sunday Orthographs. :)

This may be true but please note the downslope next to the tree. As the years pass, the apple (can) roll further away from the tree. Ask my husband.

Alix, Yup, it doesn't work backwards it seems. Athanasia, I like your observation, but I think its probably more like if the apple sits on the ground long enough someone (life) might kick it around enough to get it away from the tree. :)
Dianne, what a cool idea, "Color Sunday". Unfortunately the color cartoons won't appear in the compilation books due to the expense. At Lulu Press if you have one page of color the entire book is published at the "color page" cost which is outrageously expensive.

So VERY VERY TRUE!!! And one should go through an entire year of life (holidays, tax time, etc) to see how one handles the stress of those times!

that's ok, we'll just get our crayons out after the book is printed! :)
