I've been a fan of Brudda Iz for a few years. With apologies to Judy and the Great Satchmo, "Over the Rainbow" and "What a Wonderful World" are now Brudda Iz songs.
Absolutely love the singing, though I dislike the song lyrics. Call me a Brudda Iz fan.
Mahalo for this, this exiled surfer (sent to the desert for my repentance) is always moved by the big Iz's rendition.
Fr. Nathan, De nada (desert talk). I love Hawaii, all of my mother's family are there but I've been in the desert for 45 years now. Heck, even Moses and the children of Isreal got out in 40.
This is the only version of that song that I enjoy. :) And now I finally know who sings it!
It's one of those renditions that can sound joyful or mournful.
