Well, of course it's about my life and stuff I think about. Just like a quadzillionbazillion other bloggers. I'm obsessed with God. I love beauty, enjoy absurdity, dance with despair, seek silence, and think everyone is goofy. Here's my world and what I think of it....

This one honestly confuses me....
Tim, I guess you had to be a Boy Scout before they became P/C and an arm of the Mormon Church. I'm tempted to 'splain it, but then like all jokes, if you have to explain it then, well... you know. Maybe I'm just showing my age here. sigh.
Well, I get it. And it is actually quite funny.
Or "Do I wear a funny hat?"
Okay then. You and your crazy jokes.... ;)
Hilarious and you're right 'splainin takes all the fun out of it. You're not showing your age but you are showing that you were raised in a politically incorrect world. If you can't laugh at the Pope then there is something very wrong with the world.
You are seriously angling for a lightning bolt lately... :)
Hey-you've got to give credit where it's due. I don't know about much about mormons and the BSA, but as an Eagle Scout, I never came across too many of them. And the boy scouts are still far from politically correct. Perhaps they've become more accepting of other faiths over time, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. And as long as they exclude gays and atheists, you can't call them PC. (sorry for the rant...couldn't resist :P
I agree with the previous poster about the lightning bolt, though... :)
I was an Eagle scout before it got PC'd...but arm of mormonism?
That's actually a good question: IS Pope Benedict Catholic?
Jon and VSO, Actually I was in Boy Scouts in the early 60's. My dad was a Scout leader for about 10 years. He had a troop of misfits and kids from broken homes and did a great job with them. But DEFINITELY not P/C under him or the Navy guys who were our Scoutmasters. I don't know if the current Scouts still do the hazing and kinds of things we used to, but at least here in AZ it is definitely heavily Mormonized. (Not that that is a bad thing... every troop has its culture.)
My wife and I use this acronym with each other when something is a certainty or a given: DTPSITW. You should be able to figure it out from your blog entry. :-)
Anonymous, I get the feeling saying that might take longer then just saying the phrase...
it might be time to conserve language and just sater saying: "pope poop?"
Do not do this to me when I have a full Diet Dr. Pepper up to my mouth. It jsut isn't fair!!
