I think "Orthograph" isn't a sufficiently descriptive term for this one... It's just so... true.

I'm not sure you can top this one.

Ahhh, I have lived in the land of "ThussaiththeLord," you know, where God speaks to people as if he was a 13 year old girl. ALL THE TIME! Funny, on my computer screen the continuum line actually grew off the upper right hand corner.

Mary, I'll sure try anyway. :)
Gobbledygook and Ryan, I spent a few years in the "Jesus Movement" and if I really believed everything people told me that "God spoke to their hearts" I'd be an atheist. Fortunately I just turned out to be cynical. :)

This is SOOO true. I just wish it didn't take me so many years to learn this.

Why is it that the nicest people are so insanely WRONG?

*sigh* oh how I wish I could show this to my mom, an Orthodox turned non-denominational minister wannabe. She starts her phrases with "it's like God was talking to me!" nowadays. Lord have mercy!!!

Chocolatesa, There are a lot of people I wish I could show this to, even some Orthodox folks. Delusion knows no Church boundaries, though some Churches at least recognize the possibility of delusion and its companion, vainglory.
